Isn't there a ballerina in all of us?

Repetto window display in Paris at Rue de la Paix.

Antique tutu in Repetto window, I love how they have stage lights
in the display foreground.

Ballet slippers are slotted by size and colour.

It seems women must stop and gaze. Enthralled by
the romantic world of ballet.

  1. Tu Tu Marvelous for words.
Lace up your dancing shoes and dance amongst the stars.

  2. What a lovely post! I was a ballet dancer when I was a young girl (it seems so very long ago!) so this post brought back incredible memories for me! Thank you! Your images are fantastic and I am so happy to have discovered your site! I can't wait to pur over your posts!

  3. Yes, I took ballet as well, so the top photo resonated with me immediately. Alas, it was not to be, I wasn't the most graceful of ballerinas, but luckily I didn't know that at the time!

  4. Oh I just love Repetto - I have black patent ones on right now, my favourites. Thank you for your visit to French Essence and your lovely comment - I am very happy looking through your Gift Wrapped Life (such a lovely name for a blog ). xv

  5. Hi!
Nice to meet you via Paris Atelier.
I love Repetto too. I always have a stop in their store when I'm near the Opéra.

  6. Repetto shop is now one of the place I want to go to sometime in my life. :)

Your comments are such a lovely addition to my day. Thank you.
