I hope Fifi Flowers isn't too upset that I waited so long to post her artful gift (forgive me!). When I ran across one she did for Vicki Archer a few weeks ago, I realised I had missed a draft of this post from months ago. You aren't a real blogger until you have had Fifi Flowers draw something she likes in your post, or in this case my blog header . It certainly is a badge of honour and a wonderful gesture, after all it's nice to know something had inspired the fabulous FiFi. Oops........I see something she missed or maybe left it out on purpose. Care to guess? It is easy to miss but is my favorite part.Thank You Fifi ~ I adore my drawing!
And your artistic generosity.

fifi, you are truly gifted.

Wow she did a great job!! Is it the leg of somebody walking off in the top left corner?

Sande,
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you have inspired! I have always loved your header, so I can see why Fifi wanted to honor you with her talent.
Blessings and smiles,
Rita
PS - I don't see the 'leg' running out of the scene...or the photographer's shot.
She missed the dashing camera shy visitor! One of my favorite parts of the wonderful photo. Thank you for your inspirational blog! I visit it quite often, and when I do, it's one of the most beautiful parts of my day....Cynthia V.
ReplyDeleteOh I can see! Its the leg of the lady that owns all those lovely gifts she is just of to get some more (hee) Have a good weekend Sande :)
ReplyDeleteFifi is a very clever girl! I liked the leg too!!
ReplyDeleteI see it! The slippered foot? I love Fifi's work-so whimsical. I do wish for a Saturday morning that I were beneath those covers with gift-wrapped surprises all around me.
ReplyDeleteMissing: The foot of the woman who is rushing off - but to where?
ReplyDeleteAh - the foot walking out of the frame in the lower left. I noticed that right away. I think it may have been hard to capture in the image with the same blurred effect. It probably would have distracted from the rest of the picture. LOVE Fifi's work and I just won a darling print on her site.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! What a generous gift! And for my guess - The woman dashing off?
ReplyDeleteThe well healed leg of a woman dashing away is the missing element. Perhaps FiFi arranged for her to get to her hair appointment on time by the time the pictured arrived. Now, I really must dash off myself to see what Ms. Fifi's site is all about.
ReplyDeleteSande what a lucky lady you are and Fifi is an amazing talent . Her art pieces always make me smile. I see a high-heeled shoed lady's leg is missing. That might have looked strange in the art piece since it is so diffused in the pict. I am sure that is why fifi left it out. What a wonderful gift you have recieved. Happy First day of Spring to you. I hope you have nothing but Happy Springy thoughts today!! Kathysue
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to receive such a gift! Fifi flowers is something special!
ReplyDeleteDear Sande,
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful interpretation of your header. I won a giveaway of Fifi's notelets of my favourite picture of Paris. They haven't arrived yet but, I can't wait.
Oh, and everyone spotted the dismembered leg and shoe that is missing !!!! XXXX
Fifi's art is incredible and I gave one of her pieces as a gift & won one from her as well. Each & everyone is so magnificent. Sande you are one wonderful and lucky lady-blogger. Your header photo makes for the perfect inspiration. Happy weekend to you and hope your healing well?

How wonderful. As for the guess is it the leg wearing the high heeled shoe?
ReplyDeleteI think this the woman is perhaps dashing off to get the rest of the fabulous green packages!
ReplyDeleteWonderful work and such a wonderful gift!!!,
