Our normally neat home has turned into puppy central. The floor is littered with puppy pads, chew toys, and carpet samples (so she exercises her little legs and doesn't slip and slide on our tile floors). I haven't had a full night sleep in a week, she drags my clothes all over the house, and loves tissue paper and sparkly shoes. We are smitten with dainty Daisy and her heart-shaped nose and everything about her. Our little Mi Ki is a loving, affectionate, calm, intelligent and sweet as can be, or was..................
......today marked the devilish day when Daisy decided to see exactly how tolerant and loving this new family of hers actually was.............. exploring past boundaries, stealing clothes, running in circles, hiding under chairs, dragging tissue paper, chewing Christmas tree branches, smelling dust balls, skipping naps, you name it and demon Daisy (as we called her today) tried it. In fact she was so mischievous she wore herself out. All of us I might add.
Then Daisy curled up in a snugly pose and fell fast asleep.
Thank heaven for little puppies, especially when they go to sleep.
She is simply adorable even if I do say so myself.

Oh sweetness!!! And that nose, irresistable! xo
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable!!! Oh the delight of little puppies, it is like babies all over again.

ReplyDeleteAdorable! I just visited a blog friend who had to put her old dog down today, and now you with your new puppy. We love our dogs, don't we? Enjoy your little devil. She is a doll! Oh how I wish I could snuggle her up!

Oh Sande, she is exquisite! I put out lots & lots of hints to Santa (aka the Man-Of-The-House) for something similiar but to no avail. We've been pet-less for 18 mths. now & I'm very ready to welcome a new little pet person into our home. MOTH will be referred straight to this post when he gets home from work today!

Dearest Sande,
ReplyDeleteYou sure had a NOSE for heart! What an increadible feature on that cute face of Daisy 'Devilette'... But don't be too harsh on her; she's only a cute little baby. It is tiresome for raising them and especially the intelligent and hyper species. Well, those two go together or else you have a dumb and lazy one that only eats and 'leaks'...
Wish you lots of joy with her and make sure you don't eat her alive!

Dearest Sande,
ReplyDeleteGot too excited about Daisy 'Devilette' and I was already all day excited as my Papa turned 90 today (on our watch). Did a blog about him too.
What I forgot to mention is that on the 3rd I've posted a High End 925/000 silver alphabet angel from Tuscany as International Giveaway... So you might try for a letter 'D'.
Good luck!

OK...Now you have grabbed my heart stings. ;-) She is an adorable little fuzz ball!!! I LOVE that little heart shaped nose. It has been so long since I have had a puppy I had forgotten all those charming bits of naughtiness. LOL
ReplyDeleteDaisy is just precious! May your shoes all remain intact.
ReplyDeleteDear Sande,
ReplyDeleteOh! My! Gosh! Sande! She is THE CUTEST Little Miss Dainty Daisy I have EVER seen! I think you have your little gift wrap helper now for sure! And look at her sleeping!! She's SO adorable and that heart nose! Every single thing about her is precious. There is something about her that reminds me of You! Congratulations to all of you with your new addition to the family! Thank you Sande for introducing Little Miss Daisy to me!
Have fun!
Sending Big Hugs your way!
XO
Like having a toddler again, isn't it?! Congrats on your new addition. Even though they're mischevious it's all worth it when they snuggle your neck and go to sleep with their sweet puppy smell.

ReplyDeletesuch a sweet little face! oh, she's adorable!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet and precious
ReplyDeleteWelcome Miss Daisy♥
Sande,
ReplyDeleteShe is sooooooo cute! I once had a dog named Daisy...so glad to hear it again. The first 2 years we had our golden retreiver she would take ornaments off the the lower branches of the Christmas tree, hide behind the sofa and destroy them!!!
When she naps...so should you...survival of the fittest!
But all is forgiven because she is so unbelievably adorable!! She looks just like a Steiff doll!
ReplyDeleteOh my...how adorable, I have fallen in love with dear little Daisy, I'm sure she is very entertaining ♥

She's adorable, but would you consider training her with a crate? It would solve some of those "issues". Know you will love having her in your family.
ReplyDeleteOh.... I want her! :) How adorable! Daisy's nose makes my heart simply melt! We have been considering a puppy ourselves, and this post has pushed me over the edge!
ReplyDeleteKaren
how can you resist a face like that?!

I think I see you wrapped tightly around her little paw! Yes she is absodarnlutely adorable and I'm so happy for you Sande. She will be great fun as she matures and starts to learn the rules of the house.
ReplyDeletexo Lisa
She is beyond adorable, Sande! Good thing she picked the right family to live with: plenty of tissue and sparkly things to keep her busy! I can't believe how perfect her nose is. xo Gigi
ReplyDeleteP.S. As I type this one of my cats is eating a houseplant and the other one is tearing up and down the hallway, sliding into the furniture. They make me crazy, but I love them so! :)
Sande, oh my gosh is she adorable! Who's driving who, Miss Daisy? Julie
ReplyDeleteI can resist a lot of things, but puppies aren't one of them. She's precious!
ReplyDeleteOh she's too cute, Sande! of course, i can imagine she's quite energetic and loves playing with tissue paper but what an adorable baby-puppy..

What a little sweetie... and I know that little bundle of energy will keep you on your toes :)
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy New Year, Sande!
Kit
Oh is she cute!! We think about getting a pet for our little one but she is still little. Maybe next year.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, how adorable is that new puppy? It's so funny, I just got up from illustrating a little yorkie on a leash for next week's Ooh La Frou Frou Collection post, sat down and clicked on your blog on my blogroll to find your darling new baby! One of the Ooh La Frou Frou girls, Aimee, has a little yorkie called Paree, since she loves Paris so much and that's the dog I was referring to. The illustration of Paree is also in one of the Christmas posts, I believe the one just before the current post if you're interested. Good luck with all the puppy adventures!! Oh ... and have a wonderfully wrapped new year! xo
ReplyDeletesande, thank you so much for your lovely comment. I really appreciate your thinking of me.
ReplyDeletewhat an awesome (furry) bundle of joy! I could just squeeze that precious puppy face...
thanks again, love, donna
Oh my goodness - how adorable! Lillie wants to come play with her - haha!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little pup. Just so precious and tiny!
ReplyDeleteOh what an adorable puppy. They are so sweet when they are asleep though aren't they? They are such a joy to have.
ReplyDeleteOh how adorable! My yorkie is the same way, bad and then melts your heart, because they are so adorable. Good Luck with little Miss Daisy and training her. My Yorkie is still confused at time about where to potty :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling puppy!!!! I always say that God made puppies so cute....so you won't kill them. Oh...they can be little rascals. But....oh....this makes me want another. All my dogs are grown and I haven't had a puppy in five years....but oh...this makes me want one. Even if you have to constantly get up and take things out of it's mouth...get up in the middle of the night for potty breaks....keep it from pestering the older dogs....there is only one thing better than a puppy and that is the dog it will grow into being.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I just found your blog today and so glad I did.
What a sweetie pie. It will all be worth it - you know that.
ReplyDeleteLucy was actually Daisy for a day...then she seemed more like a Lucy. I love your little miss Daisy.
Give her a big kiss for me!
xo ~from Lucy and Dana
That is adorable. What kind of dog is she?
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Sande!
ReplyDeleteA very belated one, as
I've been down with flu
since the 28th. There
is nothing like a puppy
to set your heart a-flame
and Daisy looks like pure
love from the tip of her
nose to the tip of her tail.
LOVED the last pic!
xx Suzanne
I want one!!!! xx
ReplyDeleteShe is just a dollbaby. I could pick her up and never put her down, sooo sweet. Now I want a dog.

ReplyDeletesimply irresistible
ReplyDeleteAAAHHHH - sweet!!!!
ReplyDeletepve
puppies are the best!!! if i had my way, and probably it's good i don't, i would be adopting every stray puppy i see on the side of the road (and here there are many) and taking them home. dogs are not so well treated here, it does break my heart.
ReplyDeleteBe still my heart ♥ Sande you have captured my attention and I'm in love!
