I am guessing that plenty of you already know about Green Monsters but just in case you don't. Throw in a bunch of fruits bananas blueberries strawberries peaches raspberries and then a wee bit of Greek yogurt and honey, then a whopping pile of fresh spinach which you won't even taste. I have been on this daily Green Monster schedule for a week now and I am feeling pretty good that I get all my fruits and spinach in one delicious smoothie. I add in a scoop of protein powder too. It can turn out a yucky colour with all those fruit colours and spinach combined.......................but nothing yucky about the taste or result. Do you Green Monster? Or maybe the question should be "do you eat all your fruits each day?"I found the recipe here.

I ' monster ' any colour Sande. I love juices and smoothies, be they fruit, veg or a mixture of both. I really do believe in the power of fruit and vegetables, whether they be eaten whole or juiced. Even your photograph of them makes me feel healthier !!!! Happy weekend Sande. XXXX
ReplyDeleteDear Sande,
ReplyDeleteYes! I Green Monster every morning!! I have been going through a MAJOR cleanse since I first visited France, 7 years ago. After observing the raw real ways of the French. It all started started with my house, then to my food, then to my relationships. The Green Monster has entered my body, mind & soul.
My Green Green craving delight is:
celery, spinach, parsley, cucumber, kake, romanin, wheat grass & sunflower leaves!!
Hugs my darling friend~
XOXO
I have a friend who swears by GM; it does look kinda funny all blended! I prefer my greens raw but I do have a cocktail of celery, beet, ginger, apple & wheatgrass juice daily. And lots of B vitamins for stress. Any little thing, raw or juiced, can't be bad for us~
ReplyDeleteOh Sande I must try this. I am eating healthier , not losing any weight though. Just one size is needed as I cannot get into an entire wardrobe!

Have to admit, the before photo looks, er, better than the after. So I'm glad you gave us the heads up that it still tastes great.
ReplyDeleteAnd to French Blue.... I was intrigued that your major cleanse has now included every area of your life. I'm keeping that in mind!
I should be doing it, but i haven't tried it yet - such a chicken!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of these, and this recipe in particular looks fantastic! I find it easy to get all my fruits in the summertime, with all these amazing berries in season. Today has been a big blueberry and wild blackberry day. Cheers to you for doing green monsters every day! You must be feeling so healthy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, my friend! xoxo Gigi

Oh gosh Sande, really it tastes okay! I must give it a go if you recommend it. It would be great to get all the fruit and spinach done in one go.
