Ahh yes Sande... some ME time sounds wonderful!!! Beautiful images:) I have spent my day listening to my youngest, Sage, beg me to let him open at least one gift today, since 7am!!! I just really needed some time to rest from all of the holiday craze, but I will whine less and breathe more:))
Thanks for rekindling the gift wrap bug. I of course wrap pretty presents at my shop all day but I used to take presents to my family to another level. I had been known to spend 1 to 2 hours per package. My grandmother loved them so much I would wrap 2 the same. One was empty for her to keep and the other was the present. When she died I quit putting so much time into them. She was my muse, I would have done anything that pleased her and when she passed it broke my heart. I started reading your blog and started doing a few special ones. I discovered how much my 7 year old daughter loved to help me create these magic boxes of bliss and what fun we have had. So now instead of letting it die too I can create another generation of wrappers.
Thank you for the beautiful musings.
ReplyDeleteI will take them to heart :)
merry, merry!
