I prefer soft landings in the New Year. Give me a few weeks to ease into thinking too hard about resolutions, to-do lists, and goals. I sort of putter about, doing a few tasks that make me feel a bit productive but nothing too challenging. One of the things I try to do is clean up my photo files which I did yesterday. To make it fun I always try to find a favorite photo. And this is it............my soft landing in 2012. Dreamy, soft, layered with colour and movement. Much of what I wish in 2012 for you and me.
Hello Sande, I love the way you approach the new year! I'm sort of the same way... Mine usually begins with a lot of cleaning and re-organizing. Wishing you a beautiful 2012 Love, Terri
Sande, the dress and photo are perfection; the French know how to do it, ease in to the new year and holidays through the first week of January....pas de stress...that is a gift in itself, non? Wishing you a wonderful 2012....
I have my annual holidays during this time of year so, for me, it is a good time to make resolutions, break habits and forge new ones. MY resolutions are simple: to improve my health and fitness levels and to become, and stay, better organized. I have some personal goals re my interests, but I must attend to my first 2 resolutions if I am to tackle them. Our Christmas tree is coming down this weekend - I always feel a sense of anticipation about the new year as the remnants of the old year are packed away. Warm regards.
Your blog is always an inspiration. I have posted an award on my blog as there are many readers who would your inspiration. We have all been talking about resolutions as well...now it's time for me to act on mine. xxx
Happy New Year! Loved all the posts of the Mew Year! Especially the dress! Perfectly said! Thank you for the words, soft landing. Best to you, Jamie Herzlinger
A new year is a slow unfolding of petals revealing their spendor. My hope for everyone is loving what is revealed before them keeping hopeful, happy, and seeing their dreams come true.
Ah, soft landing...yes, I like the thought of that! Happy New Year to you and thanks for all of your lovely posts in 2011! I look forward to all that 2012 has in store!
