Gotta have these.............over at One Kings Lane
For many years now, I have had in the back of my mind a design for huge gift wrapped packages for exterior holiday decorating. Wouldn't it be fabulous? For even more years, Christmas has always been my busy time whether it be design or shipping smaller gifts so the execution of that design is waiting for a year when I can actually plan that far ahead. But wouldn't these golden lawn ornaments make a festive statement? I saw them today over at One King's Lane and thought they might bring you a smile today.............if anyone orders these and displays these on their front lawn, please send me a pic.
Thank you to readers who wished me luck on my POP UP shop which opens tomorrow. I promise to post some photos and dates and times for the Gift Wrap workshop. Welcome new followers!

Gosh, I would love to have these! My rattan deer finally "died" last winter and I'd like to replace them with something "tasteful". Is that an oxymoron? I really love the huge Christmas balls. May have to try to find some.

They look FANTASTIC Sande.....usually, that sort of thing can look pretty naff (English for 'not good') but they somehow have a look of sophistication, for something so large !!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck for tomorrow....I'll be thinking of you. XXXX

Sande, those caught my eye too. Then I saw the price and kept thinking my eyes weren't focusing properly. I think I'll stick to little white lights in my trees this Christmas! So glad you follow One King's Lane!
ReplyDeleteThose are fabulous now if only we had a great lawn to display them on.
ReplyDeleteThank you for not just this post but all the others as well. I just came to your blog.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun these are! Can you imagine hosting a holiday soiree and your guests driving up to your house only to be greeted by these? How wonderful!

Those are kinda crazy...can't wait to see and hear more about your pop up shop...sounds exciting!
ReplyDeleteI would SO love to put those on my front lawn- they would look FANTASTIC (in my humble opinion, of course) The trouble is, where to store them the other 11 months of the year ?!!
ReplyDelete(of course if they go on sale, I'd find a spot :) )
Fabulous! My clients have a couple of large pink ornaments they got from a theater, and they make a statement each year.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Claudia
