ReplyDeleteWHAT a magnificent and generous giveaway, which will be wrapped to perfection. I know lots of people say it but,when a gift is wrapped as beautifully as you wrap them, it does make it very difficult to start to remove all of that frothy gorgeousness !!

I love your ideas and I am challenging myself to do better. Like Oprah says when you know better you can do better. ReplyDeleteI found your blog in a round about way, so happy I did! I too am a lavender lover. I still remember when there was a booth that sold English Lavender at the yearly CNE. My mother always bought the little woven sachet containers (cone shaped with a removeable lid to replenish the lavender) for my sisters and I to hang in our closets. Now that is a blast from the past from the old memory bank! I imagine the lavender and rosemary scent together is lovely. According to About.com the flower lavender stands for: devotion, happiness, success, luck,(and interestingly) distrust; while rosemary means: remembrance, devotion, purity, and rebirth. It seems one compliments the other. It is lovely reading your blog, thank you for putting yourself out there.

My very first job as a high school junior was as a gift wrapper in a Dept. Store in Glendale CA. I was heart broken when they came to our "wrapping room" on Christmas Eve afternoon and gave us our final checks and bid us a fond farewell. She was a lover of ALL things lavender, exhibited by her exclusively lavender bedroom. Being in her presence, in her room, while she readied for the day, it was like being on holiday.
